The World Cup has started! To push the mood to its peak, we encourage everyone to varnish their nails in national colors. Hard to deny our roots, hence the obvious choice of black-yellow-red colors. We give you some nice ideas to varnish your nails, that you can naturally adapt to the colors of your country!
VERNISSAGE OF THE NAILS DURING THE WORLD CUP: ACCESSORIES
You are a true unconditional of the Red Devils? Your nails must therefore be absolutely covered with black-yellow-red colors. But what do you need?
- A pot of black nail polish , polish nails yellow and red nail polish
- A fine brush or a toothpick
- Tape (easy to remove)
- A creative soul
1. ONE-BY-ONE NAIL POLISH
Let’s start with the easiest way to varnish your nails during the World Cup, namely to varnish each nail in a different color. To make things easier, begin by painting the little finger of your left hand in black , then go to the ring finger (in yellow ) and color the middle finger in red . You can put black again on the index finger and yellow on the thumb. Then continue on the thumb of your right hand, to varnish red.
Another way to color your nails with three colors is to varnish your little finger and ring finger in black, your middle finger and index finger in yellow and your thumb in red.
2. RED DEVILS = RED NAILS
You prefer sobriety? In this case, varnish your nails in red. A little too subtle for you? Add a touch of fantasy on one or more nails. You can, for example, varnish your ring finger in the colors of the Belgian flag.
3. TRACE A FLAG ON EACH NAIL
If you are looking for a more sublime idea, you can draw a Belgian flag on each nail. What is the easiest way to go about it? By first applying a base coat of yellow varnish because it is the lightest color. Once the color is dry, stick a thin strip of tape around the middle of the nail to keep the color yellow. Then, color the left part of the nail in black and the right part in red. Allow everything to dry thoroughly, then carefully remove the tape (photo by Marian Nauws, Xtra Nails, Brasschaat).
